Getting Lost in the Crowd?
Cohesive Apparel Makes a Big Impression
Everyone loves the Fourth of July Parade downtown. Not only is it a great opportunity to stock up on candy, it’s also an effective way to improve your brand visibility!
You can wear your branded apparel (shirts, hats, coats, etc.) while driving your branded car (vehicle wraps and decals), and throwing out bagged candy with your logo all over it! To get your ideas started, email Rae.

How Can I Make Sure My Brand Stands Out?
Repetition is an effective way to be remembered. Use repetition and consistency in your parade gear to create patterns for brand retention and recognition.
One easy way to promote brand visibility is to saturate your employees, vehicles, signs, and giveaways with your brand. This increases the chances for customers to view your brand repeatedly. FedEx VP of Brand Experience and Marketing Monica Skipper says that while there’s a fine line between repetition and redundancy, she believes in consistency. “If you want customers to instinctively associate your business with your brand promise, you can’t be afraid to repeat yourself.”
In other words, as long as your logo and message are consistent, it is a good idea to share it over and over again. Include promo products, social media, signage, and apparel for repetition without redundancy.
Not only will you enhance brand visibility, but you’ll also help customers associate your brand with something positive.
Positive Vibes and Your Brand
Our brains build relationships with brands based on our experiences with that brand. “In the past, they [brands] were objects or concepts. You had a relationship with a brand. But in this social age, brands are the relationships. By defining a brand’s particular kind of relationship, companies can create greater engagement, differentiation, and loyalty” according to The Harvard Business Review’s article Build Your Brand as a Relationship.
The best way, therefore, to create a positive brand profile aiming to increase consumer loyalty is to increase positive associations. And what better way to do that than through candy??
Come on. It’s Candy.
If you’re in the Downtown Juneau parade this year, make sure you don’t run out of candy on the first block! Stock up, and brand it.
