Our local museums have been creating some really fun, life-size cut outs! We’re happy to have worked on these educational local projects. Here’s a sneak peak of what you’ll find at the museum.
Catch Some Salmon Facts
These fun fish cut outs have facts on the back. You can compare the physical size of each salmon species, and then learn the Tlingit name, scientific name, range, habitat, what they eat and more by flipping them over.
We had lots of fun learning from, and dancing with, these salmon as they passed through our shop!
This Sunday is your chance to “catch” these fun printed fish for yourself! Family Day at the City Museum starts at 1pm. Explore fishing in Juneau – including a fish trap interactive, the Montana Creek fish trap, and knot tying. Maybe sneak in a salmon dance too, and share it with us!

Agent Flying Squirrel is ready for duty!
You’ll find this larger-than-life squirrel cut out at the Alaska State Museum, leading kids through Alaska’s history and cultures. Mission 49: Journey to Alaska’s Past is an augmented reality game that takes place throughout the exhibits. Agent Flying Squirrel is there to help you complete the journey.
