Meet Jenny Fremlin
Here at Alaska Litho our team is central to our business. The best way to introduce you to our new Media Services is to introduce you to the team member behind the services.
Jenny’s passion is media. She has a PhD in Media Psychology for exploring the emotional and cognitive sides of media, but her roots are in creation. As a teenager she pasted up publications, hand built zines, and helped found a statewide newspaper for-teens by-teens. Now she delves into social media, mediated communities, and augmented reality. She has a BS in Journalism and Mass Communication and first came to Juneau fresh out of college to work at the Alaskan Southeaster Magazine where she became the Creative Director.
She’s constantly combining the creative and the productive to strengthen communication, from training in art and journalistic photography to seven years of experience in communications design. Her love of media and curiosity about how media creation and interaction affects us in our daily lives led her to the PhD program with Fielding Graduate University. There she explored connections between media and community, relationships, identity, health, and learning.
For three years Jenny worked in our prepress department, and now she’s excited to re-join our team and put her media expertise to work for you. She’s here to help you map out your media plans and put them into action by tying together technical knowledge, practical business experience, theoretical understanding, and research skills.

Our public seminars and private training cover a range of topics in social media, marketing, and media development. Designed to simplify complex concepts, these learning events combine expert insight into the state of media with hands-on activities.
