Proof Terms
PLEASE INSPECT THE PROOF CAREFULLY.
Check spelling, punctuation, line endings, font styles and all other aspects of the design. If you approve errors on the proof, ALASKA LITHO CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE. You are responsible for errors not noted on the proof and you are responsible for all costs, including the initial run as well as any rerun in order to correct the error, unless otherwise arranged with Alaska Litho. Any changes from the original instructions will be an additional charge to you.
A reasonable variation between color proofs and the completed job shall constitute acceptable delivery due to differences in equipment and conditions between proofing and pressroom operations. A press proof is available to the customer at their request to insure customer expectations are being met with respect to color. If a customer does not choose to be available for a press proof, the customer agrees to “pleasing color”. Pleasing color is defined as color acceptable on its own without requiring a perfect match to the color proof.
I have carefully read the attached proof(s) and authorize you to proceed with the printing of this job after making any corrections and changes indicated.
I understand that any errors on this proof which I miss or do not correct are MY RESPONSIBILITY, and I am responsible for covering the costs incurred in reprinting the job if it is not acceptable to me.
